The Heron Urn Vanishes
A pottery town's annual fair
The briefing
You arrive as the fair's crowds mill about in confusion. Fair marshal Hester Quill has kept three people from leaving: a kiln master, a glaze merchant and a wheel instructor. She wants the urn found before the buyers go home.
The Heron Urn, the hand-glazed prize piece of the Claybridge Fair, has vanished. Its empty cradle was discovered by the judges as they gathered to crown the champion potter at the noon judging. Nobody saw it go.
The suspects
- Bram Tolliver, Kiln master
- Cora Wick, Glaze merchant
