The Kelpmouth Takings
A fishing harbour at dawn
The briefing
You step onto the wet quay as gulls wheel over the moored trawlers. The co-operative chairman wants answers before the crews gather. Three people had access to the strongbox, and each insists on innocence. You are called to find the thief.
The Kelpmouth Fishermen's Co-operative strongbox, holding the week's auction takings, was found empty on the quay as the first boats came in at dawn. Every note, coin and cheque inside is gone.
The suspects
