The Vanishing Takings
A candle factory in the holiday rush
The briefing
You arrive to a factory that smells of cinnamon and hot wax, with orders stacked to the ceiling. The owner has called you in quietly, before the police. Four night-shift workers remain on site, and each insists they know nothing.
The sealed canvas bag holding the factory's holiday-rush takings, ready for the bank run, was gone when the courier arrived to collect it at six o'clock. Nobody on the night shift admits to seeing it leave.
The suspects
- Agnes Holloway, Shift forewoman
- Bruno Castellan, Wax melter
- Cora Pell, Scent blender
- Desmond Okafor, Dock driver
