The Silver Needle Spoil
A tea plantation guest lodge in the mist
The briefing
You arrive at Harrowgate Lodge as rain drips from the tea terraces. The owner has locked the doors and gathered four staff in the lounge. Nobody leaves until you find out who ruined the harvest, where, and with what.
The estate's prized silver-needle harvest, a whole season's finest crop set aside for the visiting buyers, was found wrecked and worthless when the lodge cook came down at half past five. Someone had deliberately ruined it.
The suspects
- Bram Okoye, Head withering master
- Cora Venn, Master tea taster
- Dev Marlowe, Lodge manager
- Elsie Thorne, Estate bookkeeper
