The briefing
You step inside as the snow melts off your coat. Four people worked beside Ottavio, and the police have left the room to you. Each had access, each wants to go home, and one of them is lying.
Master luthier Ottavio Marchetti was found dead at 7:15 by the delivery boy, laid out among his half-finished violins. The workshop's celebrated commission, a cello for the city orchestra, now stands without its maker.
